I recently met a guy who claims himself to be graduated from a random 中专 and has some patents or whatever.
He told me that he wants to "reuinion" the entire math with 3000 symbols.
Well, Lebniz has techically done that a while ago.
Well, thats how modern mathematics is built, but still.
He also said that he has several patents, which I strongly doubt...
The point isn't the guy, he's a dumbass. However, he's happy.
I was that happy when I found a seemingly novel idea, but now when I first come up with an idea I knew that it's 99% not novel.
I don't know how to describe this feeling precisely, but it's a kind of anxious that tells you that you made nothing new.
From teen years, I always wanna make something of my own, new. Maybe making better things based on others work is also a good thing I guess.
